• What is your favorite part about living at The Langford?
  
  

I feel safe here. I moved from Kingwood and I was always worried about hurricane season and the floods. Also, you can call maintenance when you need them and they show up ASAP. I don’t have to wait a week for someone to come check on my situation.

• What was the easiest thing about moving here?

No more house maintenance. I don’t have to bother with up keeping a house. I don’t have to write any more checks for utility bills.

• What was the hardest thing about moving here?
  
  

Leaving familiar places and people. I lived in my house since 1973, I knew my way around town, had great doctors and neighbors. However, I have received great recommendations from my new neighbors at The Langford for doctors and I have made new friends. There is always something going on at The Langford. My favorite is Bingo!

• Is your family glad you moved to The Langford?
  
  Living at Methodist Retirement Communities runs in the family. My son is thinking of moving here when he retires. Both of my grandsons are attending A&M. Additionally, my mother was one of the first residents to move into MRC Pinecrest in Lufkin, TX; so I knew MRC The Langford was a great choice for me.
